Delivery & Pickup Policy

CostumeOnRent is committed to deliver your order with good quality packaging within the given time frame on a best-effort basis. We ship throughout the week, except Sundays, public holidays, and festivals. To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, we ship through India’s top courier agencies such as FedEx, Blue Dart, DHL, Aramex, Delhivery, and other reputed courier agencies with express delivery. Delivery availability can be checked by entering the address pin code on the product page. In rare scenarios where the pin code is non-serviceable, we apologize as we will not be able to deliver your costume order.

How is the delivery charge calculated for multiple units?

The shipping charge is specified separately for every product. For multiple products ordered, the delivery logic adds up the volume & weight of the overall parcel and calculates weight. The delivery fee is calculated separately when a customer orders different products.

Our prices are all-inclusive of taxes. If you are a business owner using the costumes for official purposes, you may share the GSTIN and we will provide a relevant bill to avail GST tax credit.

How long does it take for an order to arrive?

Orders are normally dispatched the same day (unless it's a bulk order) if placed in the morning. We mostly try to dispatch orders as early as possible or as per the rental delivery date specified by you. Most orders are delivered within 2 to 6 working days. Fast delivery is available for 1-2 days within metro and other big cities.

For rental costume orders, please mention the date when the costume will be used. We ensure the costume reaches you one day prior to the function date (start date) and the return pickup is scheduled one day after the function date (pickup date). Delivery and pickup of all orders will be done as per the address mentioned by you. Return pickup is not available for the Buy option.

Please note that delivery & pickup are on a best-effort basis. If due to unforeseen delays at the delivery partner’s end, the costume does not reach you on time, CostumeOnRent will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss. If you select fast delivery and live in an Indian metro city, we try to ensure delivery within 1-2 days. Otherwise, extra charges for faster delivery will be refunded if delayed.

What happens if the costume is not available for pickup?

We request you to keep the costume packet ready on the scheduled pickup day. If the courier staff has to return without the costume, it will be considered unavailable for return and kept by the user. In such a case, the security deposit will not be refunded. For emergencies or delays beyond your control, please email or call us, and we may accept late returns with nominal charges.

What if the product is received in damaged condition?

Although rare due to tamper-proof packaging, if the product is received damaged or packaging tampered, refuse the package and contact our customer care at +91 9999490730 or contact@costumeonrent.in with your Order ID. We will ensure a brand-new replacement is issued at no extra cost. Ensure the original product tag and packing are intact.
